WeaponTester is a static site. Browsing the marketing pages and using the builder/range does not require an account.
Analytics
We use two analytics tools:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless and privacy-preserving. No personal data is collected and no cookies are set. Loaded on every page visit.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — loaded only after you accept
analytics cookies. GA4 sets two cookies:
_ga(expires 2 years) and_ga_*(expires 2 days). IP anonymization is enabled. If you decline or have not yet decided, GA4 does not load and no GA4 cookies are set.
Your consent choice is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key
wt_analytics_consent. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time via
the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
Server logs
Standard server logs from our hosting provider (Cloudflare): IP address, user-agent, timestamp, and requested URL. These are kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
Affiliate links
Some product links route through /go/<id> on this
domain and redirect to retailer URLs (Amazon, SilencerShop, etc.) with
an affiliate tag. The retailer's own privacy policy applies once you
leave our site. Amazon may set its own cookies after you click; we do not
control those. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may request access to, deletion of, or a copy of any personal data we hold. You may also object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell personal data.
